Sophie Mackintosh is the author of four novels: The Water Cure, Blue Ticket, Cursed Bread and Permanence. Her writing has appeared in Granta, The White Review and The Stinging Fly, among other publications. In 2023 she was selected as one of Granta’s Best of Young British Novelists. She lives and works in London.
