Bergþóra Snæbjörnsdóttir

Bergþóra Snæbjörnsdóttir is an Icelandic poet and novelist based in Reykjavík. Her debut poetry collection Daloon Days (2011) was followed by Flórída (2017), which was nominated for the Icelandic Literary Award. Her debut novel, Pighead (2019), received major literary prizes in Iceland, as did her short prose collection Everything Flows (2022). Her second novel, Dust – Cult of the Good Looking (2023), was critically acclaimed and a national bestseller in Iceland. It will be published in France by Éditions Grasset in April 2026.
